Tommy has been doing a good, steady job for a few years here, in making available an excellent range of real ales, as well as proper cider. The pub, as most will know, is warm and inviting. Its odd shape, forged by its proximity to a road junction, make it a quirky place, and would have given its builders little worry about in finding a name. The man himself, seen here beaming from lug to lug, has worked hard to maintain consistent quality of product on his bar. Not satisfied with that, though, he only goes and starts brewing in the basement. You will find the results of that activity also on the bar.

Revealed for the first time, below, is the secret of his beer production. Yes, he employs Munchkins to get as close as possible to the action, and who can keep stirring and cleaning into the tightest corners. And this one’s actually a relative.
