About the Club
A member’s club opened in 1966 and located within the Saltaire conservation area but just outside the eastern boundary of the Saltaire World Heritage Site. It is a valuable community resource providing home to an eclectic mix of people with interests ranging from dancing, acting, play writing, bingo, live music & the arts. In 2018, membership was £10 for the year. Non-members are welcome and entry is free on Saturdays. The club hosts live folk, roots and acoustic music, and other acts, in “The Live Room” (especially on a Friday) and open to all. There are bingo nights in the main lounge from 7.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and a big band night is held on Monday nights. There is a rock and roll tea dance on the afternoon of the 3rd Sunday of the month. The club can be hired for events and functions outside of its normal opening times. The club serves one regular beer from Saltaire, and three changing beers from local breweries, such as Ilkley and Leeds.
